The Young Sikh Professionals Network (YSPN) is an Australia/New Zealand based professional networking organisations which aims to engender a sense of belief within the Sikh diaspora that they can achieve exceptional success within Australia.

YSPN’s mission is to “create the conditions for young Sikh professionals to succeed and amplify their influence”. YSPN delivers its mandate by hosting marquee events to inspire young Sikh professionals; workshops focussed on professional skills development; mentoring programs to create intergenerational personal connections; produces and curates content to promote a positive and productive image of Sikhs; and advocates establishing stronger networks amongst the broader community.

  • YSPN holds events across each of its chapters in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland focussed on providing young Sikh professionals the opportunity to network, learn from experienced executives and learn important professional skills. YSPN aims to deliver 4 events per city per year, and till date has delivered ~50 events
  • YSPN also administers a mentoring program in each city, connecting tenured professionals with young professionals and University students
  • YSPN produces content and advocates on behalf of Sikhs, focussed on improving the productive and intellectual image of Sikhs


YSPN has a management team of ~50 volunteers who help prepare events, run marketing, deliver the mentoring program, produce content and manage the operations of the organisation.
